There are so many reasons to stop smoking – from health, to financial reasons – and yet for many it remains a goal just out of reach.
Using hypnotherapy, however, it is much easier to stop smoking.
How does hypnotherapy help?
Any smoker knows it is extremely difficult to simply stop smoking and go cold turkey.
I hear many smokers who have stopped say that even though they have stopped smoking they still see themselves as smokers and still want to smoke.
The Techniques I use to help Clients Stop Smoking
My method helps the client to become a non-smoker. The idea is to visualise yourself as a non-smoker. This means building a positive image as a non-smoker in the subconscious of your future self – this reinforces your view of yourself as a non-smoker.
My approach is to run two sessions 5-7 days apart. Two sessions are always necessary in order to allow the subconscious to realise smoking can be a thing of the past.
The first session allows the client to get a feel of trance and to set the subconscious up to count down the days to becoming a non-smoker. During the interval between sessions the client will have a couple of tasks to perform in order to help the process. Then the second session gives the client a longer time in trance allowing the subconscious to process the idea of being a non-smoker.
How successful is this technique?
The good news is that I am currently seeing a success rate of 100%. One client restarted at his father’s funeral and came back for a booster and is now again a non-smoker.
The usual outcome is for clients to stop and then refer friends and family to me. I have helped male and female clients from 23 to 61 years of age with success.
The satisfied clients are the best advertisement for my work and you can read testimonials supporting this on my testimonials page. Some are anonymous due to the delicate nature of the client’s problem, but all are genuine testimonials from real people.
In addition to in-person sessions, we also offer a hypnotherapy download to stop smoking.
